New Director of Strategic Engagement
Katie Arnold will help cultivate deeper relationships and strengthen engagement with the EFCA mission across the movement.
The EFCA is pleased to welcome Katie Arnold as the new director of strategic engagement.
In this role, Katie will be a key connection point between churches, districts and the national office, helping to cultivate deeper relationships and strengthen engagement with the EFCA mission across the movement. Working in collaboration with district leadership and national office leadership, she will expand collaborative efforts to fulfill the Great Commission, strengthen churches and fund our shared efforts into the future.
As director of strategic engagement, Katie will connect pastors and ministry leaders to available resources and services provided by the national office. She will also serve as a visible representative and voice of the national office, communicating the mission and strategies of the EFCA while fostering collaboration across local, regional, national and international efforts.
“Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working together with EFCA leaders in various ministries and enjoyed seeing the fruit of those partnerships. In this role, I look forward to deepening relationships with local church pastors and ministry leaders and strengthening their church's vision for gospel-centered engagement in their communities, living out the mission of the EFCA.”
This role reflects the EFCA national office’s commitment to a vision of “one EFCA”— where local, regional, national and international ministries work together toward common ministry objectives with shared values and trusting relationships. Katie––and her extensive experience within the EFCA––will help build trust, strengthen alignment and increase momentum, advancing the EFCA’s mission and ministries.
Katie previously served with ReachGlobal in Asia from 2004 to 2010 as a missionary and city team leader, and later on the Engage Team from 2010 to 2015 as a long-term candidate advisor and pre-deployed staff coach. Since 2016, she has served in the EFCA Texas–Oklahoma District as director of ministry effectiveness and as part of the EFCA’s church planting efforts through ReachNetwork.
"The EFCA is blessed to have Katie’s gifts, knowledge and experience joining the national office,” said acting EFCA president Carlton Harris. “This is a crucial role for our movement, specifically EFCA pastors and ministry leaders, as we connect them to resources, invest in collaborative gospel efforts, strengthen churches and move forward with our shared mission.”
In addition to her formal roles, Katie has contributed to the EFCA through service on the EFCA Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors and as a volunteer at Challenge.
Her breadth of experience across global missions, leadership development and district ministry uniquely equips her to step into this strategic role, helping strengthen connections and advance ministry priorities across the EFCA.
Please welcome Katie Arnold to the national office and join us as we pray over the transition into her new role.
