Since 2021, Prepared—the EFCA’s gospel-centered, two-year equipping program for women in ministry leadership—has served hundreds of women and strengthened countless churches and ministries. By God’s grace—under the leadership of Gloria Grell—the number of women’s ministry directors has increased across our movement, creating an opportunity for ReachNational to take an intentional next step in this vital area of ministry.

In January 2026, Keri Early formally joined the ReachNational ministry team as the new director of equipping for women. As Gloria transitions into an emeritus role, Keri will step forward to lead equipping for women and the Prepared cohorts, in partnership with the ministry leadership teams.

“It is a privilege to serve the Church by encouraging and equipping women for ministry leadership, trusting the Lord to multiply His work through them. Though I am new to this role, it’s clear God has long been at work throughout the EFCA, as men and women co-labor in the gospel, united in Christ and advancing His mission together far beyond what any of us could accomplish alone.” – Keri Early

In this role, Keri will also continue to foster the strong partnerships between Prepared and EFCA districts, local churches and ReachGlobal. We pray this ministry will continue to cultivate a movement of women serving and leading in gospel-centered ministry, advancing the EFCA’s mission and convictions.

Keri will serve part-time in this role while continuing to live in Des Moines, Iowa. She will also spend part of her time at the EFCA national office in Minneapolis. Join us in welcoming Keri to the EFCA and celebrating Gloria’s faithful years of ministry.
