On June 10, 2020 (8 p.m. EDT // 7 p.m. CDT), EFCA President Kevin Kompelien and the EFCA Board of Directors are hosting a virtual prayer gathering: United in Prayer. During this 30-minute live-streaming event, we—pastors, leaders, congregants, missionaries and staff—will follow the Lord’s Prayer and unite as "one EFCA" with our hearts centered on Christ.

Last month, EFCA President Kevin Kompelien called EFCA churches, leaders and congregants to pray, every Wednesday, for the immediate and long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Praise God for those who have joined us in this prayer effort for our movement, our country and our nation.

Now, as our country begins to reopen, this is an important time for us to continue prayerfully lifting the EFCA, churches, communities and leaders before the Lord. The opportunities for ministry in the days ahead will be vast, and we must prayerfully and confidently follow the lead of the Holy Spirit as we lovingly share the good news of Jesus Christ.

In light of this, we're calling EFCA pastors, leaders and congregations around the country to join us in corporate, united prayer.
