While the extent of the flood effects in Columbia, South Carolina may not be fully understood for several days due to the continued high water and damage to infrastructure, ReachGlobal has initiated a response effort in partnership with Riverside Community Church and the EFCA Southeast District. Staff are arriving in the region tomorrow to help with initial response stages and to think through the long-term disciplemaking opportunities that crises like this present.
- The emotional and physical trauma that this unprecedented event is having in the lives of people in South Carolina.
- Riverside Community Church leaders to have wisdom in how to lead the church and the community in response to this tragedy.
- Riverside’s compassionate outreach to those being sheltered in their facility.
- Pray for wisdom for the ReachGlobal Crisis Response assessment team and our following God’s leading and His plan for our response.
