EFCA Chaplain Receives Award

Captain Brian Musselman was given the award for outstanding performance by a member of the United States Air Force Chaplain Corps.

Captain Brian Musselman, Chaplain of the 673d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, was given the 2017 Chaplain Corps Award for distinctive accomplishments that reflect upon himself and the United States Air Force.

Musselman accepted the award as part of the 2017 Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition on September 18, 2017.

Between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016, Musselman conducted three marriage enrichment events, 13 funerals and 65 religious services, cementing Pacific Air Forces’ 2016 Large Chapel Team of the Year. He penned an agreement that ensures spiritual care delivery to 34 geographically separated units throughout the command, he was instrumental to a 75th Anniversary Ceremony honoring our fallen heroes on Wake Island and captured the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for 523 hours of selfless work.
