Ways to Serve

Plant a Church - Kentucky/North Carolina

Kentucky and North Carolina

Plant a church with the EFCA Southeast District.

About the EFCA Southeast District

The EFCA Southeast District represents 9 states, 63million people, numbers of growing cultural population groups and currently has 65 churches and 34 new church starts in process. The opportunities for new church starts are endless and we are growing in the number of contacts desiring a new EFCA disciplemaking church.

If you wish to see if there is an opening in an established ministry please contact Glen Schrieber at glen@sed-efca.org.

Our Church Planting Philosophy

Our district’s definition of church is a disciplemaking faith community that is reproducing new church communities. We are looking for new disciple making churches to reproduce new churches.

Training Available

Each of our church planters is offered assessments, boot camp training on practical skills to start a church, ongoing coaching, pastoral care and network mentoring. Contact us for more specifics.

Opportunity Details

There are two locations where we have a church plant start and the planter is moving on. Each location is leaving leaders in place and 35 to 50 people. This is a good opportunity for a builder, and it will be a temporary missionary position or bi-vocational until the core can grow stronger. These two ministries are meeting on Sundays and need leadership. The church planters are leaving in a healthy way and there is a strong positive reputation in the community.

Pray and consider investing in these church plants. Come and join us!
