Journey to Mongolia

Living and serving in Mongolia is an exercise in contextualizing the gospel and serving cross-culturally. In a culture where syncretism (combining religions) is common, it's important to approach disciple-making with precision and thoughtfulness.

You'll have a local Mongolian assigned to you during your time to provide input and feedback while learning from local Christians and missionaries in areas relating to ministry:

-Basic Mongolian language
-Missiology, contextualization, and Mongolian culture
-Navigating a new city
-Running a business
-English, sports and/or music outreach

You'll learn essential skills for cross-cultural ministry in Mongolia, but your life and service will be an encouragement to Christian Mongolians and will help build relationship bridges.

Special Requirements

In order to live in Mongolia for more than 90 days, foreigners must have permission from the government. This presents an array of issues and possibilities which include:

-Vocation options for long-term residency
-Striking a balance between vocational responsibilities and disciple-making.
