While Ukraine is often called the "Bible Belt" of Eastern Europe, Ukraine is plagued with a wide variety of social justice ills, including human trafficking. We are looking for individuals who want to tell the story of how churches and individuals can engage through partnership, giving, praying and sending workers to help Ukraine’s most vulnerable and exploited populations.
Basic skills needed for this position are demonstrated abilities of working with various people and organizational skills. Secondary skills would include the ability of meeting people where they are at spiritually and a basic understanding of current social issues. Humility and a servant’s heart are key as the church plant will not be driven by foreigners (us) but by local, Ukrainian believers.
Some specific skills needed for the communications internships include: writing proficient and professional stories, experience with videography, either completed communications degree or partial degree, ability to work with team on the ground as well as supervisors in other countries.
