Student Ministries Associate

The EFCA national office is seeking a full-time Student Ministries Associate to provide event coordination, logistical support, and administrative aid for the ReachStudents ministry.

Start Date: ASAP
Hours Per Week: 40
Starting Salary: $20-$23 per hour

Duties

  • Event Coordination: prep conference materials, participant communications, volunteer support; develop promotional materials; coordinate and attend annual Rebound Conference and Conference Lead Team meetings; track registration; provide customer service to youth leaders
  • Leader Care and Development: outreach to youth workers of EFCA; track engagement with RS programs; increase relational footprint; design and format RS content
  • Strategic Support of Director: Book all travel, housing, and rental vehicles for director; calendar management; produce reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Team Hospitality and Support: Manage logistical details for semi-annual RS Council meetings; process and track RS training seminar and cohorts; attend RS council multi-day meetings (3 nights, 2x per year)
  • Communication: produce electronic newsletter; oversee editing of materials for public distribution; oversee updating of youth worker database; manage blog editorial calendar
  • Financial Management: create and manage Rebound and Momentum budgets; track monthly financials; complete P-Card for RS Director; assist in RS budget creation and management

Skills and Education Requirements

  • Alignment with the mission and values of the EFCA.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years of administrative and/or event planning experience required
  • 2 or more years of Student Ministry experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent editing, proofing and formatting skills
  • Strong Communication skills (written, verbal, and relational)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in and proven ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks by deadlines given with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel overnight approximately 12-15 nights per year
