Project Manager

The EFCA national office is seeking a full-time Project Manager to manage all Communications projects and the Communications portfolio, to provide capacity analysis with input from the Director of Communications, and to provide administrative support to the Director of Communications.

Start Date: February 1, 2019

Hours Per Week: 40

Duties

  • Responsible for project management, traffic, and production, including preparation of annual Communications strategic portfolio plan and campaign case studies with analytics and evaluation after each major project
  • Understand creative process and manage workflow from project initiation to completion
  • Establish project goals, review schedules, assign projects, manage resources, create schedules, and oversee quality control
  • Maintain client relationships, solicit quotes, and procure projects and services
  • Create a digital asset management (DAM) system to organize and archive all completed projects
  • Provide proactive customer service to internal and external EFCA ministries and leaders, including partnership with staff in strategic social media planning, monitoring, and execution
  • Assist with writing, editing, and reviewing content for messaging through varying media
  • Support the Director of Communications with administrative and logistical support
  • Perform market research, assist with audits, manage and update calendars, document monthly campaign case studies, coordinate meetings and travel, prepare expense reports, process invoices, and other duties as assigned

Skills and Education Requirements

  • Committed relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and values of the EFCA.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in leading and managing multiple projects on time and on budget without compromise on quality
  • College degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or related field
  • PMP certification highly preferred
  • Experience with Excel and Project, Smart Sheets, or PM tool is required
  • Understanding of creative briefs and digital asset libraries and some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent time management and a strong sense of urgency
  • Familiar with database, project management and design software, content management systems, search engine optimization, and basic coding
  • Strong ability to multitask and strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Customer service focus with professional demeanor
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Critical decision-making skills and strong math and analytical skills
