Executive Assistant

The EFCA national office is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to provide high level administrative support for the Chief Development Officer and manage the coordination and execution of ministry advancement tasks and projects from conception to finalization.

Start Date: August 1, 2019
Hours Per Week: 40

  • Manage Ministry Advancement processes, including coordination of fundraising projects, management of project timelines, and interaction with ministry departments and EFCA executive leadership team
  • Oversee administrative processes such as donor contact management, electronic filing systems, and department calendars, communications and budgets
  • Supervise administrative assistant, providing support for Chief Development Officer and VP of EFCA Foundation
  • Participate with department leadership in strategic planning processes for donor cultivation/development and sustainability of fundraising efforts
  • Provide excellent customer service for all EFCA donors and constituents on behalf of the Chief Development Officer and EFCA Foundation
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Education Requirements

  • Maturity in relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and values of the EFCA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Three years of administrative assistant experience; experience at upper management or executive level preferred
  • One to three years of ministry experience, preferably within the EFCA movement or para-church setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Keyboarding ability of at least 50 wpm
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to communicate with others on behalf of executive leadership
  • Ability to prioritize requests and work independently
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the Chief Development Officer
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to spend more than 50% of work time using a keyboard and looking at a computer screen
