Digital Marketing Manager

The EFCA national office is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the digital presence of the EFCA and manage the EFCA digital platforms from content creation to publishing and analysis. This individual will work with EFCA staff to focus on quality and consistency of brand voice across all communication platforms and methods.

Start Date: January 1, 2019

Hours Per Week: 40

Duties

  • Responsible for EFCA content and editorial strategy, including working with EFCA ministries and constituency to plan, write, edit, and improve content
  • Work with 3rd party agencies and/or the Interactive Art Director to conduct content audits and inventory of EFCA web assets
  • Responsible for EFCA marketing and communications strategy, including development of annual marketing plan and oversight of implementation
  • Monitor all aspects of branding to ensure a cohesive message aligned with organizational strategies
  • Act as primary content creator and strategist for EFCA social media channels, including planning, assigning, publishing, and monitoring social content
  • Provide leadership for implementation of EFCA brand voice, including the creation and management of an EFCA style guide
  • Act as editor and copywriter for communications pieces and publications
  • Responsible for data mining, analytics, and management, including leadership of SEO/SEM efforts and translating quantitative information into creative strategies

Skills and Education Requirements

  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and values of the EFCA
  • At least 8 years of marketing and/or communications experience with at least 2 years in leading content strategy development and digital marketing and communications
  • College degree in Marketing, Journalist, Communications, or related field
  • Experience working with donors or in non-profit organizations preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills and proficiency in CSS and HTML
  • Ability to write, proofread, and edit written and web-based materials at a professional level
  • Intermediate computer and application skills utilizing PC or Mac: Microsoft Office file formats/programs and Outlook; Apple/Mac OS file formats; Adobe Acrobat; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign);
  • Proficient in MailChimp, Google Adwords and Analytics, Facebook Campaign and Analytics, Raiser’s Edge or customer relationship management (CRM) software and other business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytics
  • Expert understanding of social media and big data
  • Ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
