Who we are
The Denmark Bible Fellowship is a group of Christ followers who have been meeting for almost two years in rented spaces. The group currently meets for weekly Bible Study/Discussion on Thursday evenings at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
The goal is to plant an Evangelical Bible based church in the Denmark community. At this time many believers are driving to Green Bay (15 – 25 miles), Two Rivers/Manitowoc (15 – 25 miles) or to other distant communities for weekly church services. About 6 years ago the Lord put on the hearts of some folks to plant a church in Denmark that would have an impact for the Lord within the community. Under the supervision of the Forest Lakes District of the Evangelical Free Church of America we are now moving to the next phase of looking for a planting pastor to lead us forward.
Denmark, Wisconsin is a village located on Interstate 43 in southern Brown County. The village itself has a population of 2,250 with the boundaries of the local rural townships being adjacent to Hobart, the fastest growing community in Wisconsin. The average age in the community is 36 years old which reflects the growth of young people locating within the village.
To be a pastor you must foremost be called. 1 Timothy 3: 1-7, Titus 1: 6-9, 1 Peter 5: 1-3 layout the qualifications for a pastor. It is also imperative that the candidate have a clear testimony of personal salvation and a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The pastor will initially need to be open to being bi-vocational and/or raising support. Denmark Bible fellowship will do all they can to support the plant pastor with their time, talent and treasures.
