URBAN & WHOLISTIC MINISTRIES
Meet the Director
Dan Reeve, Director of Urban Ministries
Rev. Dan Reeve serves as the Director of Urban Ministries with the EFCA ReachNational. Dan has been involved with UIM in recruiting, training and deploying urban and ethnic workers into the mission field of North America since 1991.
Dan's passion for the often forgotten people in the urban United States was born out of his experiences growing up on the streets of New York City. Dan has a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education from Washington Bible College in Latham, MD, and a Masters of Divinity in Urban Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has served inner-city congregations in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Minneapolis, and has served on the faculty at Northwestern College in Roseville, MN and Trinity in Deerfield, IL.
Dan is driven by the conviction that the greatest need of all urban and ethnic Americans is the Church----the people of God represented in a community bringing relationships, compassion and the good news in a holistic ministry. This conviction also drives Dan to spend many hours in the urban "trenches" sharing his faith on the streets and mentoring inner-city youth.
Dan and his wife Kimberly have three adult daughters and currently live in Brooklyn, NY.
