Welcome to EFCA Student Ministries!

We're glad you're here! Take some time to look around our site, and if you have any questions, please let us know!

Our Mission Statement

We are committed to serving the local EFCA churches as they build effective disciplemaking ministry that reaches students at all levels of spiritual interest and works with them to become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.

Key Areas of Impact

Serving youth ministries across the nation and help them to be more effective.

Prayer
We help model and motivate ongoing prayer across the US for local, district, and national youth ministry.

Strategic Planning
We, directed by the Student Ministries Council, work at strategizing, implementing and evaluating effective student ministry for the EFCA.

Mentoring
District Mentoring Retreats are held across the nation, networking youth workers who will mentor others.

Training
Sonlife Foundations trainers are available across the nation to provide low cost and accessible training in a discipling model of youth ministry to committed students, lay students, and paid staff across the country, especially in smaller churches. (See our Youth Workers section for a list of trainers.)

Ministry Projects
Every-other year (non-Challenge Conference years) we provide a variety of short-term ministry opportunities as catalysts for students and youth workers to move from growth to ministry level for the purpose of reaching their peers for Christ.

Vision Casting
We provide regular communication to churches and youth workers. We hope to build acceptance and understanding of our vision, confidence in our key areas of impact, and involvement in our programs and resources.

CHALLENGE Conferences
We provide biannually a conference for EFCA churches from across the country designed to help Christian students grow in their faith and be challenged in outreach and ministry training.
