Celebrate, Hear and Dream
Challenge 2010 leadership intentionally invited 100 ethnic students from EFCA churches across the country to attend the conference. Dante Upshaw, director of EFCA African-American Ministries, Dr. Alejandro Mandes, director of EFCA Hispanic Ministries and Fritz Dale, executive director of ReachNational helped to make this happen. On the third day of the conference, these leaders along with Dr. Bill Hamel, president of the EFCA, met with the students encouraging them to, “Celebrate, Hear and Dream,” and inviting them to plan to return to future Challenge conferences.
