The Launch
A tool for launching Christians into a successful second half of life for good works.
How can you plan better for what could potentially be one of the most productive chapters of a Christian’s life? The Launch facilitates this planning process by engaging participants in assessing their life experiences, skills, and talents. The goal is to prayerfully consider how God would lead you to invest the new gift of time in a way that would be pleasing to Him and give you a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
The Launch is designed as a five-week small group experience for Christians who are in the second half of life or preparing for it. For only $29.95, you get a study guide and the rights to duplicate it, plus a DVD that has five professionally prepared 20-minute videos that will inform and spark your discussion time.
The study can be easily expanded to ten sessions or merged into a half-day workshop.

The Launch is based ont he Scripture found in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
The study was created by First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton, CA, in response to the restless yearnings of Christians who desire to find purpose and contentment in mid-life and beyond.
The Launch is endorsed by the EFCA national ministry to older adults, EFCA ENCORE. National Director Chris Holck states, "The Launch fills a gap in churches where there has been so little curriculum for older adults who want to discover together how to honor God and serve His Church in their second half of life. It will generate lively discussion, but better yet, it will move Christians to action."
