About ReachNational
Our history
On January 1, 2008, the EFCA launched ReachNational, the U.S. mission of the EFCA - a new department combining the vision, passion and strengths of the Urban & Intercultural Mission (UIM) and National Ministries’ (NM) teams in order to increase our ability to achieve our mission to reach "all people" and organize for maximum ministry effectiveness.
This change accelerates our commitment to "all people" and makes it a major missional focus of all ministries in the U.S., rather than limiting that focus to just one department. ReachNational now focuses the "all people" commitment into the following ministries:
- African-American Ministries
- Church Health
- Church Planting
- EFCA ENCORE 50+ Ministries
- Family and Children’s Ministries
- EFCA GATEWAY Theological Institute
- Hispanic Ministries
- Student Ministries
- Urban and Holistic Ministries
- EFCA RESOUND Women’s Ministries
Our logo
The ReachNational logo, as the words imply, speaks to our mission, glorifying God by multiplying healthy churches nationally reaching all people. The colors in the "o" speak to the many faces and stories that ReachNational represents, and to the one mission that unites us in Christ as we seek to serve EFCA church and district leaders.
