Vision for Middle East/North Africa (MENA)





ReachGlobal’s ministry in Middle East/North Africa (MENA) began in 2008. The MENA region encompasses 26 countries that are interconnected by their widespread use of the Arabic language and their common religion of Islam. This region contains an estimated 460 million people in a land mass roughly equivalent to that of the U.S. and Canada. Here you will find modern cities, tribal nomads, sophisticated technology and primitive lifestyles. It is an area of economic and geographic diversity that varies almost by the mile in countries whose governments range from democracy to dictatorship.




God is at work in this unreached part of the world. As the Holy Spirit reveals the truth of the power of Jesus to heal and change lives and as Christians demonstrate the love of Christ during times of difficulty and hardship, many Muslims are putting  their faith in Jesus. Internet access to Christian Web sites and satellite television give Muslim seekers and converts opportunity to obtain information, Scripture and encouragement without risk.




MENA not only refers to the geographical area defined by ReachGlobal but also to a group of people who are committed to working toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission in this area of the world. The MENA vision is to establish functioning church networks among dominant people groups of the MENA region by 2020.
