Educational Internships in Europe

Do you want to get there as soon as possible, yet still be prepared to make an impact?




Why not study and serve on the field at the same time? A new partnership between ReachGlobal Europe and Tyndale Theological Seminary provides an integrated ministry experience of theological training, language learning and ministry engagement.



Integrated Ministry Program


PHASE 1: Theological Studies in Amsterdam


    

  • One or two-year Masters level program
    • 

  • Two start times: January or August
    • 

  • Three great advantages: low cost, cross-cultural, high-quality accredited education
    • 



Advantages:


    

  • Theological education happens in a cross-cultural setting, with orientation to European culture during the first phase of study.
    • 

  • Tyndale’s balance of theorem and praxis is well-suited for cross-cultural ministry in Europe.
    • 

  • Low tuition and living expenses means little or not theological education debts.
    • 

  • Program options include the one-year Bible Certificate program or continuing for the rest of a 3-year MDiv degree program (at Tyndale or another accredited seminary in North America).
    • 



Program requirements:


    

  • ReachGlobal’s ENGAGE requirements are met (for North Americans).
    • 

  • Invitation to join a ReachGlobal City Team.
    • 

  • Support raised will be sufficient to cover half-tuition and fees, room and board, medical insurance and other budget expenses as determined by ReachGlobal for phase 1. (More support may be needed for phases 2 and 3 of the Integrated Ministry term.)
    • 

  • University degree is normally required (exceptions may be granted).
    • 

  • Student Visa for the Netherlands (available through Tyndale).
    • 




Tyndale Estimated Costs: €600/mo.



PHASE 2: Language Learning Options



Serve with your teammates while learning the target language for ministry. Language learning phase may last from 6-12 months.



PHASE 3: Ministry Engagement



Impact your world! Join your team in the target city for a one or two-year practical ministry internship. Length of this phase is determined by the City Team Leader and candidate. After this period, the candidate may apply for longer-term ministry with ReachGlobal.
