Mission Yu-ruu

Mongolia-Shoebox MinistryMongolia 2010

What
Five days of hard work renovating a house and providing medical and dental care.

When
During a two week period between mid-July and the end of August, 2010.

Where
Among the Mongolian people living in the northern Mongolian town of Yu-ruu. It’s a town of about 3,000 people situated between the "Blessing" river on the west and a small "island" mountain on the east.

Why
Because we love the people of Yu-ruu and desire to develop a Christ-exalting, gospel faithful community of believers in their midst. The place to be renovated will house a Mongolian church development team and will provide space for small group meetings. The medical ministry is our way of demonstrating God’s love in a tangible way to our Yu-ruu friends.

Who
A team consisting of at least 1 doctor, 1 dentist, 1 nurse, 2 carpenters, 2 laborers, and 1 cook. The team could consist of believers from one church or from a group of churches.
