Harvest Home - nurture the lives of orphans in a remote mountain village
Children’s home for the Lahu people
The Lahu Hill Tribe is a marginalized people group, trapped in the midst of rapid social change. ReachGlobal works in partnership with the Thai-Lahu Christian Church which ministers to the Lahu people.
Offering a nurturing, Christian environment for orphans and children living in remote mountain villages is a successful tool to provide education and godly choices for the next generation and upcoming leaders.
How can you help?
Your prayers are needed to make this vision for Harvest Home a reality:
- Encourage your church to provide financial support and send a construction team.
- Seek God’s leading to join a construction team.
- Support the construction team members from your church.
Teams of 4-12 people with open hearts are needed to serve. Volunteers with good health and ability to work in a tropical climate who are willing to participate in pre-field training and raise support.
What does it take?
In addition to airfare a $950 fee includes:
- pre-field training
- in-country transportation
- meals and lodging
- sightseeing trip
- financial contributions for materials
