Growing the Church in Mongolia

Birth of a healthy church and healthy church planting movement.

Mongolian Shoebox MinistryReachGlobal rejoices that the Lord is developing godly leaders in the Mongolian church. There are signs that a healthy church is being birthed and is preparing to reach out to multiply the kingdom of God in the community and beyond:

  • Roni, a key Mongolian church leader carries the preaching load.
  • Sunni as a bi-vocational worker serves in a secular job while serving the church family.
  • The church has at least a dozen lay leaders like Roni and Sunni.
  • The church does not depend on outside resources to meet regular expenses.
  • Roni, Sunni and other lay leaders continue to grow in critical areas of discernment.
  • Church lay leaders use opportunities to reach out in the community not only to meet physical needs, but also spiritual needs. When shoe-boxes (the boxes contained toiletry items: Q-tips, Band-Aids, pens, etc.) which EFCA TouchGlobal shipped to Mongolia recently were distributed, Carl, a lay leader, did a great job presenting the gospel along with the shoe boxes to needy families.
  • The church is doing outreach in two remote villages and the church leadership is now looking to place long-term workers in these villages.
  • This Mongolian church birthed by ReachGlobal staff is becoming a healthy, independent, indigenous, reproducing church.
