North Asia Profile
Materialism. Syncretism. New Hope.
About North Asia
A general distrust of religion exists.- Western pop-culture is embraced.
- New ministry paradigms are needed.
- The gospel of Jesus Christ has been present in North Asia for over 400 years.
- Christian workers have been free to share the good news in Japan and more recently, in Mongolia, but very few have responded in faith.
- With the collapse of communism in 1989, the materialism of the West is becoming a new passion.
Reaching North Asia
ReachGlobal has been working in Japan for sixty years and a nationwide Evangelical Free Church body is well established. ReachGlobal work in Japan now centers on new initiatives to incarnate the gospel and share the love of Christ.
ReachGlobal work in Mongolia is less than twenty years old. Two city teams are creatively working to develop healthy fellowships that will be capable of planting other healthy fellowships.
