Sudan is one of our non-resident fields, which means there are no ReachGlobal missionaries living there. However, we are working closely with our African national partner churches in Sudan. Refugees have moved back home from Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia following over 20 years of civil war that devastated southern Sudan. This project assists our African national partner, the Evangelical Free Church of Sudan (EFCS), with a variety of ministry and transportation needs as they move into unreached areas to plant churches and establish holistic development ministries all across Southern Sudan. This will give the EFCS the opportunity to make a huge impact as community life is reestablished in southern Sudan and the church is firmly established as a transforming influence in hundreds of communities.
