Hurricane Katrina Teams
TouchGlobal, the EFCA’s crisis response ministry, is working alongside local churches, is providing hurricane relief, recovery to the body of Christ, and outreach and evangelism to communities in Covington and New Orleans, LA. TouchGlobal is in need of individuals who have a heart for service and compassion.
Come prepared to be flexible and to be used by God! TouchGlobal is committed to rebuilding homes devastated by Katrina to allow displaced families to move home. The vision of church planting is expanding to greater New Orleans — to areas such as the 9th Ward, New Orleans East, Gentily, and the North Shore. The hope is to build on the foundation that has been created from the previous generations of volunteers, so come and partner with TouchGlobal for this Kingdom work!
TouchGlobal is looking for volunteer teams of five or more people, (rather than individual volunteers). Multiple teams are deployed each week.
