How will the funds raised for Every Drop Counts! actually be used?


    

  1. orphanage water filterThe funds will be equally split between needs in Haiti and Kolkata, India.

The primary solution will be water filtration systems with the appropriate filtering capacity for a family, school or orphanage.  If the project raises more than $25,000, that opens up the possibility of drilling wells and exploring longer-term solutions for more children. The more that is raised, the better the solution we will be able to provide.

  3. In Kolkata, those receiving the filters will be families whose kids are part of the GlobalFingerprints sponsorship program.
    4. 

  4. In Haiti, the recipients will likely be schools, orphanages or some type of community-based solution versus giving a filtration system to a single family.
    5. 

  5. In the next six months, GlobalFingerprints will be talking with organizations that focus exclusively on the issue of clean, safe water and will be developing a recommended solution in each location in coordination with experts in this field.

  6. The implementation of the water filtration systems will be done in close collaboration with GlobalFingerprints national church partners in each location.
