The Impact
EFCA TouchGlobal Crisis Response is responding to the mission field in the Galveston area affected by Hurricane Ike. In Galveston County, five (5) EFCA churches were directly affected by the storm. Many families from these churches have significant damage to their homes and are struggling and in need of basic supplies. Buildings will need new roofs and major repairs. Job loss is rampant, with the major employer in Galveston having already layed off 3,800 employees. People are hurting and trying to figure out where to turn.

EFCA Crisis Response in action
Be a part of making an eternal difference in the lives of people in need. EFCA Crisis Response has established a long-term command center at Galveston Bible Church. We are hosting short-term teams for clean-up and rebuilding in Galveston County, and we are continuing Katrina relief work in New Orleans.
