Training for short-term teams
EFCA CONNECT offers extensive pre-field training for all kinds of short-term teams. This includes:
- Training materials
- Online Teaching in a New Culture—Short-Term course
- Online Basic Evangelism course
- Online Kingdom Expansion 101 course (Visit EFCA EQUIP)
- Weekend training workshop conducted by experienced staff at your church or in your city
Healthy missions partnerships training and coaching
Are you interested in establishing deeper more focused ministry partnerships with indigenous churches or movement leaders, missionary teams, other churches and mission organizations? When it comes to mission partnerships one sizes does not fit all, but there are key principles that when applied will help us partner in healthy ways. CONNECT has created a online course around these key principles called Healthy Missions Partnerships. It is a practical course for missions committees, pastors, missionaries, and national leaders who are interested in building, launching, and sustaining healthy missions partnerships. CONNECT also offers partnership coaching and other partnership resources to churches, missionaries, and national leaders. If you are interested in having one of the CONNECT staff coach you through the process of partnership development, contact CONNECT and ask to talk with one of the CONNECT advocates about partnership coaching.
Church missions strategy development training
EFCA CONNECT wants to help your church develop an effective and attainable global missions strategy. Whether you have a formal missions committee in place, or you are just a few people interested in carrying out the Great Commission, our CONNECT staff can help you establish and meet your missions goals. We are available to meet with you and your missions church leadership to discuss your current missions strategy or to offer training in developing a new one. We also offer "Developing a Missions Strategy That Fits Your Church", a six-hour seminar for pastors, elders, outreach/missions teams and leaders responsible for outreach.
Global outreach summits
EFCA CONNECT offers a training and resource ministry for churches called the Global Outreach Summit (formerly Global Ministry Summit), or GO Summit. It is a one-day conference designed to help your missions leadership team in global outreach. It will stimulate your thinking to new levels, offer many practical ideas that you can implement immediately, and assist you in networking with others.
