Opportunities and Application Questions

How do I apply to serve with ReachGlobal?
For a term of service that is seven months or more, a Preliminary Information Form (PIF) needs to be submitted. This form is considered an inquiry that will start the screening process for service with ReachGlobal. The inquirer will receive a phone call to see if there is a potential fit with ReachGlobal. If both ReachGlobal and the inquirer agree to moving forward, the application process moves to the written application.

To apply for a term of 6 months or less, download the Explore 1-6 Application and submit it.

You can read more about ReachGlobal opportunities or submit the PIF.

What is the application process like for ReachGlobal?
For a term of one year or more, there is a written application phase that begins with filling out the Preliminary Information Form (PIF). The submission of this form is followed by an interview.  After the interview, we invite long-term prospective staff to come to an event at our national office.  Following acceptance at that event, there are a number of training events and support-team building before departing for the field.  Short-term staff would hear about acceptance after the interview.

Applying for 6 months or less or less consists of the application plus four forms and a phone interview prior to acceptance.

Read more about ReachGlobal opportunities or submit a PIF.

What is the process for starting ministry in a new area of the world for ReachGlobal?
There are a number of factors involved with answering this question. The primary factor is the assessment of the potential field. What is the opportunity for the gospel? Who and what are the ministry partners ReachGlobal has currently? What is the field assessment by the ReachGlobal International Leader? After the answers to these questions have been determined, individuals or churches would work with the ReachGlobal International Leader to develop a strategy to open a new field.

Resources Questions

Why can’t I find missionary names on your Web site and where can I find them?
For security reasons, we do not post the names of our missionaries or their contact information. If you are looking for the name of a missionary or their contact information, you can go through the following process: contact the national office at reachglobal@efca.org or (800) 745-2202. Let the national office know which missionary you are trying to find contact information for. The national office will then contact the missionary and have them follow up with you or will get permission from the missionary to give out their contact information.
