Prayer
ReachGlobal exists to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches among all people. Our personnel throughout the world carry this mission in their hearts seeking to achieve it in their work and lives. Although we strive to this end, we also know that on our own strength, our work and desire is in vain. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to make our ministry endeavors effective and lasting.
The first "guiding principal" of the ReachGlobal Sandbox is, "We are Word-based and Spirit-empowered." This implies that we are totally dependent on the Bible and the Holy Spirit for effectiveness in our ministries. The Scripture, with its central focus of the gospel, is the basis for our ministry. Without the Scriptures we have no lasting message, no authoritative and enduring revelation from God, and no power to see lives changed.
In the same way, we are utterly dependent on the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit who empowers people for service, who guides and directs the strategy for most effectiveness, who prepares the hearts of people to receive the gospel and who regenerates and makes them part of God’s Kingdom. Without the Spirit’s work, nothing of lasting consequence can be accomplished.
Because the rebirth is a supernatural transaction, our greatest tool for building God’s Kingdom is prayer. Through prayer, we plead with God to change people’s lives; we ask for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our ministries; we ask God to remove obstacles to the gospel; we seek God’s guidance for our strategies; and we listen to what God is trying to tell us so our ministries are "Word-based and Spirit-empowered."
This is why your prayer support is so crucial. Your prayers create ripples of power and encouragement throughout our movement. Your partnership with us in this way is invaluable.
