Updates for mission pastors and church leaders

2007 Leadership Conference ReachGlobal Summits
ReachGlobal will be hosting several summits during this year's EFCA Leadership Conference, held at Grace Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, June 27-29. There will be six Regional Summits and one Mission Leaders Summit (Please note: The Mission Leaders Summit is for mission pastors and local church leaders ONLY). All of these summits will be held on Tuesday, June 26.
The Mission Leaders Summit (Tuesday morning at 9 am) will be hosted by the ReachGlobal Executive Director. This will be a great time for mission pastors and local church leaders to network and dialogue with him regarding global ministry.
There will be two sessions of regional summits on Tuesday afternoon. Both sessions will be 2 1/2 hours long and will be hosted by area leaders from the field. Participants will have the opportunity to attend two different Regional Summits from the following list:
- Africa
- China
- Europe
- India
- Latin America
- Pacific Asia
A box lunch will be provided for all participants of the summits (both morning and afternoon summits).
The schedule for the summits is:
- 9:00-noon: Mission Leaders Summit (mission pastors and local church leaders only)
- Noon: Pick up box lunch
- Noon - 2:30: First Session (all 6 summits are available to attend)
- 2:30 - 3:00: Summit break
- 3:00 - 5:30: Second Session (all 6 summits are available to attend)
If you would like to attend any of the above summits and you did not do so when you registered for the Leadership Conference, you can contact mailto:andy.krause@efca.org to register. Also, you may attend the summits even if you are not registering for Leadership Conference. Contact Andy Krause to let him know which summits you will be attending.
2007 VBS project
This year's VBS project, the elikia project - building a home of hope, has already been sent out to more than 50 churches. The goal of this year's project is to raise $25,000 to build a home for widows and orphans as part of the CEVO project in Congo. If your church would like to participate, please email Julie Turnquist with your contact information (church name, contact name, email address and mailing address).
This information will also be available at the 2007 Leadership Conference in Minneapolis. Please stop by the EFCA TouchGlobal booth to receive a packet of information on the elika project - building a home of hope.
