We offer English curriculum, training materials, and training in various mission and ministry skills. We currently have more than sixty teams preparing to go on a trip this year. We are eager to assist you in any way we can. To let us know how we can help you, please contact Linda Sauke.

Medical personnel urgently needed for Mongolia Amazing Ger Outreach 2007

ReachGlobal missionaries, Mongolian believers and members of the Champaign Community EFC are teaming up to conduct another Amazing Ger outreach in the towns of Huder and Yu-ruu. Last year's successful outreach and continued follow-up has created an eager expectation among the leaders and residents of these communities for our return and service among them. We are planning to set up camp from July 24 to August 2 and hope to fully satisfy all their expectations by once again providing medical services, organized sports, crafts, English classes, and some manual labor. In addition, we are praying that as the gospel of Jesus Christ is shared through teaching, skits and testimonies during the evening tent-meetings, God in His great mercy will reconcile sinners to Himself.

Last year the medical service provided by the American doctor and nurse in each location was a significant component of our ministry and we hope to be able to provide not only this service again, but to include dentist care as well. Ideally we would like a team of one doctor, one nurse and one dentist for each of the two locations for the entire nine day outreach. However, even having a medical team for at least three days in each area would be a blessing. The work basically will entail conducting an open clinic, 5-6 hours a day, in a poorly equipped hospital, for general health examination, diagnosis and treatment. There may, however, be an occasional emergency to address. One of the days would be spent making home visits to people outside the towns. If you are a doctor, dentist or nurse would you please ask God if he would like you to come to Mongolia this summer and serve with us in the Amazing Ger outreach? Contact Dr. Tom Cairns for more information.

Reminder: Inform missionaries of changes

Please remember to contact your missionaries of any changes in your church staff that would affect them. Often churches change missions pastors or staff, leaving missionaries with outdated information. Please provide your missionaries with new names, emails and addresses when any pertinent changes occur. This will help keep lines of communication open.  Thank you!

Publication Update

Because of the new name change from EFCA International Mission to EFCA ReachGlobal, many publications need to be updated to reflect the new name.  This publication will continue to be called ReachGlobal News.  However, the next time you receive it, it will have a different design (content will remain unchanged).  Also, it will be coming from the following email address: reachglobalnews@moodle.efca.org.

In order for the next publication to NOT get caught in your junk mail filter, please add the new email address (reachglobalnews@moodle.efca.org) to your "safe list".   You will no longer be receiving emails from efcaimnews@moodle.efca.org.
