A 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti on Tuesday causing widespread devastation to the island and in the capital, Port-au-Prince. There is great need for aid and relief funds. EFCA TouchGlobal Crisis Response is coordinating a response in connection with the EFCA Southeast District, an EFCA church planter in Haiti, and key ministry partners. Your church can help!

• For the leaders and members of the church plant in Port-au-Prince.
• For the people of Haiti as they experience loss, pain and death. Pray that God would move in this crisis and that people would come to know and trust Him.
• For EFCA Crisis Response team members as they determine how God would have the EFCA respond.

EFCA GATEWAY THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE

EFCA GATEWAY Theological Institute exists to provide a pathway to ministry within the larger EFCA movement. GATEWAY offers language-specific, practical and accessible theological training for pastors, leaders and church planters equipping them for effective ministry in their current contexts. GATEWAY is designed for leaders who have a need for theological and pastoral training, but lack the time and resources to access traditional seminary education.
 
EFCA GATEWAY Theological Institute continues to grow. Phase 1 focuses on the EFCA Statement of Faith, and Phase 2 is a 16 module seminary like training through a partnership with TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute of World Impact).

• January 23 at Joy Community Fellowship, Pittman, NJ (English site)

Phase 2 GATEWAY/TUMI presently has 4 locations:
