EFCA TOUCHGLOBAL PROVIDES AID IN RWANDAIn December, members of the Rwanda Evangelical Free Church entered refugee camps in eastern Congo to distribute relief supplies purchased with funds given through EFCA TouchGlobal. In recent months, fighting there has continued to escalate and the region remains in turmoil from years of unrest. With death tolls nearing 5,400,000 since the outbreak of violence in 1998, averaging 45,000 deaths per month, little has been done to abate the pain and suffering of the innocent. It was amidst this cauldron that relief supplies, beans, rice, corn, flour and other necessary supplies were distributed through the local church to 251 families engulfed in this nightmare.
