Katrina relief work in New Orleans continues to be an ongoing ministry of EFCA TouchGlobal Crisis Response. In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Crisis Response partnered with Trinity Church, Castle Rock Community Church and Urban Impact Ministries to restore church bodies and mobilize people from around the country to transform the communities of southern Louisiana.
What began as an idea, with a few people and no resources, has grown into an ongoing ministry partnership of outreach, compassion and church planting through Trinity Church, Castle Rock Community Church, Urban Impact Ministries, the EFCA denomination, and beyond.
There are several ways you can get involved:
- Give financial aid to Hurricane Katrina Relief.
- Donate supplies and provisions.
- Serve on an on-site team.
