Evangel Adult Education Center 

This project provides funds for the monthly operating expenses of Evangel Adult Education Centre. The Evangel Adult Education Centre (EAEC) is a ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of Macao Mission. It was opened in 1998 as a way of reaching out into the community with the gospel. Its two main goals are to provide high quality adult education for the people of Macau (social service), and to share the love of Christ with every student (evangelism). The hope is that any new converts would be incorporated into EFC church plants.

This fund also provides funds for the renovation of Evangel Adult Education Centre. Because the center has outgrown its present facility and needs additional classroom and office space for growth and development, EAEC rented a new facility and relocated to its new location in January 2004. Before they could begin using this new facility, however, renovation work was needed, which included dividing walls, floor tiling, electrical wiring, painting, A/C, signage, furniture and equipment, such as computers, telephones, whiteboards, etc.

While Evangel Adult Education Centre was grateful to receive a government subsidy to cover a portion of the renovation expenses incurred, those costs far exceeded the amount of the subsidy. So the center's two parent missions, ReachGlobal (the international mission of the EFCA) (USA) and EFCC-HKOMB (Hong Kong) gave advance payments totaling $35,000 (US).  Each of the two missions is now faced with the responsibility of raising half that amount, or $17,500 (US), in order to pay off that debt.
