Objectives:
1. To emphasize the primacy of church planting in fulfilling the Great Commission.
2. To affirm the fact that evangelism and discipleship must always lead on to the planting of local churches.
3. To introduce participants to biblical principles of cross-cultural church planting and to the procedures of the church planting process.
4. To discuss, evaluate, and contextualize the church planting process and help participants begin to develop a church planting strategy tuned to their cultural ministry settings.
5. To help participants understand their role in cross-cultural church planting and anticipate the joys and challenges of a life-long church planting ministry.
6. To introduce participants to cross-cultural church planting resource materials.
7. To provide fellowship and encouragement in the church planting ministry.
