About this video:
I pastor a church in Liberia. It has been real difficult getting folks to church, and we have been praying for a breakthrough. There is a particular part of the community that has been dedicated to ritualistic practices, and I believe it is an area of stronghold, needing serious prayer to break those strongholds.
One day, a few missionaries and I took some time to walk around the area and pray for God’s intervention, and that the power of God would rule over that place.
Six months after we prayed, there was a dispute among the families living in the particular area, eventually landing them in court. The government stepped in and prohibited the citizens from using that place for ritualistic voodoo practices.
That was a serious breakthrough, because people in that community began responding to the Gospel.
It encouraged our church to pray more so God would continue to work in the community. It led to the formation of a prayer breakfast; a small prayer group meets every Saturday at 6 a.m. in order to pray. They continue to pray for God to continue to open doors for ministry opportunities.
