The Fruit in Peru
Work and rebuilding continues following the earthquake in Peru last year. Praise God for eight decisions for Christ recently in a Bible study that has resulted from relationships formed during the crisis response.
The God Who Responds
One of our crews was working in the lower ninth ward putting a roof on Mt. Carmel Church in Louisiana. By Wednesday, they were a little frustrated that they were not having much interaction with people. There are not many people living in that section of the city. So they prayed! "Lord, send us people to share your love with."
Thinking Broad
Pastor Scott Tinman - pastor of Student Ministries at First Free Church in Moline, IL prayerfully applied for and was awarded the $1000 Kingdom Assignment 50 Churches in 50 Days initiative. Using the parable of the talents he challenged the junior and senior high school students to multiply the award for the greater community.
