ReachNational Church Planting is a network of nearly 1,500 Evangelical Free Churches and 18 regional districts committed to a common church planting mission.
We are planting approximately one church a week with an 87 percent success rate. We have close to 200 plants on their way to becoming affiliated EFCA churches.
Moving from a church plant in 2003, Mark Lee started a position as a young adult pastor at Diamond Bar Evangelical Free Church thinking it was time for him to learn from a bigger church and more experienced pastor. He thought his church planting days were over.
During an evangelism outreach for a new church plant in Harrisburg, PA, one man's tough facade melted away when speaking one-on-one to worship leader Christian Aguilar. He confessed his need of a Savior and then tossed a knife that he carried into a garbage can expressing a desire to leave a violent lifestyle.
At the 2008 EFCA Leadership Conference in St. Louis, MO, many church planting awards were presented.
