Ministerial Forum

The EFCA Ministerial Association publishes a "newsletter" for members intended to promote discussion of important theological issues.  Articles are written by EFCA pastors for EFCA pastors.  The publication frequently captures the essence of the presentations given at the annual Midwinter Ministeral Conference.

Fall 2007 Forum - In discussions of the Draft Revisions of the Statement of Faith that the EFCA Board of Directors had submitted for consideration and discussion in 2005, one of the most frequently asked questions was "How would the deletion of premillennialism affect our biblical hermeneutic?"  The 2007 Midwinter Ministerial Conference, "Inerrancy, Hermeneutics and Eschatology", was designed to address that question.

Fall 2006 Forum - To prepare for the 2007 Midwinter Ministerial Conference, Rev. Bill Kynes, a member of the EFCA Spiritual Heritage Committee and editor of the Ministerial Forum, produced a document on the "Hermeneutics of a Statement of Faith".  The Ministerial Forum published this insightful document for the benefit of EFCA pastors and lay leaders.

Summer 2005 Forum - The 2005 Midwinter Ministerial Conference focused on the theme of baptism in the EFCA. Biblical and theological perspectives, including both believer- and paedobaptist views, were presented, followed by a historical overview.
