Disability Insurance

For life’s unexpected moments, group long-term disability insurance makes good sense. The EFCA offers an affordable long-term disability insurance plan to pastoral and support staff of EFCA affiliated churches and organizations.  Contact our plan administrator at pastoralcare@efca.org for assistance with enrolling in the plan.

2009 Open Enrollment

The month of January is open enrollment time for the EFCA Long Term Disability Insurance.  It is the only time of the year when church staff given access to LTD insurance through salary deferral are able to come on the plan if they have previously waived coverage or failed to enroll during the first 30 days of employment.  Enrollment information can be downloaded below.

  • 60% of salary replacement benefit (for salaries up to $120,000)
  • 90 day waiting period
  • spouse disability coverage of $1500/month for up to 24 months
