Free Church chaplains are passionate about living and sharing the Gospel within unique and often overlooked places in our society!   Whether it be in a military setting, a sports arena, a university campus, a hospital ward, a local jail, a federal prison, a squad car, or even a campground -- chaplains can be found sharing the love of Christ.

Mission Statement

The EFCA Chaplains Service exists to glorify God by encouraging, enlisting, and supporting effective qualified chaplains.

Goals

  1. Recruit -- To recruit chaplains to serve in military and institutional settings.
  2. Support -- To support chaplains with emotional, professional and spiritual care.
  3. Resources -- To provide professional resources for effective ministry.
  4. Promote -- To positively define the unique work of a chaplain with the body of Christ.

Chaplains Commission

The Chaplains Commission consists of seven members who help guide and assist the ministry of EFCA Chaplain MInistries.
